Pia Wurtzbach went viral recently after responding to a netizen who bashed her on social media. KAMI learned that the basher compared Pia to her fellow Miss Universe winner, Catriona Gray.

According to the netizen, many people supposedly prefer Catriona over Pia because the former focuses on helping people while the latter allegedly focuses on her glamorous lifestyle and her love life.
“They are most likely comparing you to Catriona Gray who’s always helping and is really all about helping people,” the netizen said.

The beauty queen responded by telling the netizen to check her social media timeline to see that she focuses on all of those aspects.
She said that even if she likes to help others and promote her advocacies, many people still tend to focus more on her lifestyle and her love life.
“If you look at my timeline and stories you’ll find everything there. Im always posting but you dont notice it because you refuse to see it.
“Kahit naman nung MU pa ko 5 yrs ago people only focused on who I was dating rather than what I was doing.
“Its true. I did so much advocacy work as MU and people just dont see that. Theyre more interested in knowing my diet or who Im seeing.
“But God knows I really tried hard and never expecting to get anything from it. Gusto ko lang talaga,” Pia replied.

She got involved in a controversy months ago due to her younger sister, Sarah Wurtzbach. The latter accused Pia of insulting her, for siding with their mother in their conflict, and for not being there for her when she needed emotional help.
However, Sarah urged netizens not to bash Pia Wurtzbach on social media after she posted those allegations against her. According to Sarah, bashing Pia online will not help their family resolve their issues with each other.
