Luis Manzano came to his girlfriend Jessy Mendiola’s defense after the latter received a rude comment on social media.

On her Instagram page, the actress posted a photo of her while donning an expensive wrist watch.
A basher then noticed Jessy’s watch and asked, “How can she afford a Patek?”
To this Jessy replied, “um… because I work hard and save a lot? Lol.”
Her boyfriend, who also did not let the basher’s comment pass, then responded to the discourteous question.
“work and save till you can buy or enjoy what you want in life no matter what they may be, Napaka bobo mo naman if di mo gets yun, pabili ka utak ngayong 12.12 sale... work and save para ma afford mo rin ang brain," the actor said.

However, the rude netizen penned a reply to Luis that reads, “Bakit ka defensive? Nagtatanong lang ah?”
“12.12, add to cart – brain,” Luis answered.
