On Thursday, November 26, news about the death of the Slapshock frontman broke the internet. According to the report from the Quezon City Police District, Jamir's cause of death was suicide.
Following the news of his untimely death, KAMI learned that Sojina recently went live on Facebook on Friday, November 27 in the afternoon to express her grief over the singer's death.
At the beginning of her live video, Sojina began by sharing that the late singer would not approve of what she is about to do and say.
The partner of the late singer then began to address the issue that caused a lot of pain and sadness in Jamir's life, "Simula nung pumutok yung balita na yun wala kayong narinig samin."
Sojina shared that she and Jamir chose to remain silent amid the issue that was being thrown at the late singer.
"Nanahimik kami dahil ayaw namin yung ginagawa niyo, dahil ayaw namin yung gusto niyo na pagpiyestahan at gawing circus ang buhay namin.
"Pero anong ginawa niyo? Nag-enjoy kayo. Napakasama niyo."
"Kaya nga nagpakamatay yung asawa ko dahil sa mga ginawa niyo eh," she also said at one point during the video.
At the end of her live video, Sojina said, "Tinuri kayong kapatid ni Jamir.
