Mike Enriquez has committed a hilarious blooper on a previous episode of the GMA News program, “24 Oras.”
KAMI learned that Mike mistakenly informed the audience that his name is Ivan, the name of his co-reporter on 24 Oras – Ivan Mayrina.
“Ako po si Ivan,” Mike said.
For this reason, Mel Tiangco hilariously corrected Mike and told him that his name is not Ivan.
“Hindi ikaw si Ivan. Hindi ikaw, Mike,” Mel told Mike.

After Ivan and Mel laughed, Mike correctly said his name and apologized to Ivan for the blunder.
“Ako po si Mike Enriquez na humihingi ng pasensiya kay Ivan Mayrina,” Mike told Ivan.

That is not the first time that Mike committed a blooper on live TV. On a past episode of 24 Oras, Mike coughed repeatedly while reminding the public about the new coronavirus infection. The broadcast-journalist immediately mentioned the said illness after coughing.
The famous news anchor also went viral when Mel Tiangco made a joke about his physical appearance. During a Halloween special of 24 Oras where some of the reporters wore masks, Mel told Mike to remove his mask even if he was not wearing one.
Mike Enriquez, or Miguel Castro Enriquez in real life, is an award-winning journalist who serves as one of the anchors of “24 Oras.” In 2014, he received the Excellence in Broadcasting Award during the PMPC Star Awards for TV.
