A former flight attendant of Cebu Pacific Air named Maurice Maureen Avila has become a viral sensation due to her social media post.
KAMI learned that Maurice lost her job as a flight attendant because of the negative effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the airline industry.
Maurice admitted that she got sad and frustrated when she lost her job but she eventually got over it and started to find new ways to move on and succeed.
She is now finding success in selling and delivering LPG tanks in her area and has been praised by many netizens for her never-say-die attitude. However, she still has plans in the future to once again become a flight attendant.

“Today, Oct. 16, is the effectivity date of the 2nd wave of retrenchment in Cebu Pacific. I am exactly one and half month unemployed.

“It took me so long to accept and post this in social media. Madaming nagtatanong sakin pero hndi ko nirereplyan. Kase nahihiya ako. Kase feeling ko nagfail ako sa buhay.

“But eventually, natanggap ko din naman. Bakit? Nasaktan ako. Pinaghirapan ko to. Pangarap ko to. Eto ang mundo ko. Eto ang bumubuhay samen ng pamilya ko.
“HINDI DAPAT IKAHIYA NA NATANGGAL KA SA TRABAHO. To others na nawalan din ng trabaho during this Pandemic, don’t lose hope. Narealize ko sa one and half month, na kahit anong gusto natin sa buhay kung hndi naman talaga yun ang plano ni Lord, kukunin at kukunin nya yun sayo.
