Boy Abunda recently opened up about the heavy issue that is being thrown to Piolo Pascual regarding his gender identity.
KAMI learned that there are netizens who speculate that the actor is not a straight man especially after BB Gandanghari alleged that there was a special feeling formed between him and Rustom Padilla in 2001.
The US-based Filipino transwoman clarified that she was not outing Piolo with her statements, but she also advised him that he should answer the rumor.
"Kung nakikinig si Piolo, eto lang ang payo ko sa iyo Piolo. Piolo, I am not outing you. I am only speaking or talking about my experience. Now, napakadaling sabihin na, ‘That was just an experience. I’m a man, I’m straight, man.’ Ang daling sabihin. Pwede mo rin sabihin na, ‘Yeah, maybe I’m gay,’” she quipped.
“But you can’t be… you can’t be in the middle all the time and make people guess and make people fight people, because people are insinuating who you are,” she added.

Through a recently-uploaded video, Tito Boy defended Piolo from all the people who question his real gender identity.
He pointed out that only the handsome celebrity can “identify” himself. He also presented several “what ifs” about the issue that the actor has been facing.
“Inuulit ko po, only Piolo Pascual can identify himself… Isipin natin, what if he’s not gay? What if he is panromantic, demisexual, asexual, polygamous, or bisexual? What if he is cisgender, or a straight man? What if he’s fluid, androgynous? What if he is ambiguous? What if he doesn’t subscribe to gender? What if he’s gender-neutral?” he said.
“Let’s stop guessing! Can we just say Piolo Pascual is a human being? Just like you, and me, and Rustom, and BB Gandanghari…” he added.
