Award-winning actress Yuko Takeuchi has passed away at the age of 40.
Her husband, Taiki Nakabayashi, found the actress unconscious in their apartment early Sunday morning.
Following this news, KAMI learned that the Miss Sherlock lead actress was sent to the hospital where she was eventually confirmed dead.

According to the reports done by Japan Times (authored by Jiji Kyodo) and Strait Times (authored by Jan Lee), authorities are suspecting suicide to be the actress's cause of death.

Yuko is a well-known actress in Japan who received a number of film awards during her time in the film industry.
The 40-year-old-actress is a mother of two and actually gave birth to her son with Taiki back in January 2020.

Yuko Takeuchi is a Japanese actress who made her big break in the film industry with the series, Asuka back in 1999. Yuko was also the lead role for Miss Sherlock, a female-led adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes.
