Aiko Melendez, muntik nang mabulag dahil kay Maja Salvador

Aiko Melendez recently held a live interview video together with Maja Salvador and Sunshine Cruz whom she previously worked with on Wildflower.
In the live video, KAMI learned that the Kapuso actress recounted how she almost became blind because of Maja during one of their tapings for the show.
According to Aiko, that was the reason as to why she would not be able to forget the Kapamilya actress.

Aiko began by expressing her admiration for the Kapamilya actress whom she mentioned did not hire a double for the dangerous scenes in the show.
"At kahit pagod na pagod na ay talagang tatapusin niya ang lahat ng eksena," she said to which Maja replied, "Oy hindi lang ako, dumudugo na ang mata mo, ayaw mo pang i-pack up, eh."
The Kapuso actress then went on to tell the story behind the incident.
"Kasi natusok mo ako ng kuko, pero doon tayo naging close no? Aksidente naman yun na natusok mo ang mata ko.
"Yung cake scene yun hindi naman sinasadya kasi ganun ka-intense yung Wildflower kasi mahaba yung kuko niya, muntik na niya akong mabulag kaya hindi kita makakalimutan, Maja, eh," she shared.
Furthermore, Aiko shared that she did not want to pack up because her other eye might be the one to get poked if they reshot the scene.

Aiko Melendez is a Filipino actress and former politician. She used to be married to actor Jomari Yllana from 2000 to 2003. They have a son named Andrei.
Just recently, Aiko celebrated her YouTube milestone together with her good friend Ogie Diaz who made her jump out of fear during the video.
The actress and her son, Andre Yllana also recently buzzed the online community when the latter got mad towards the actress regarding the prank she pulled on her partner, VG Jay Khonghun.
