Stephen Robles cries hard as she recalls heartaches for leaving ‘It’s Showtime’

Stephen Robles has finally revealed why she had to leave ABS-CBN’s noontime show, “It’s Showtime.”

KAMI learned that Stephen released a vlog to discuss what really happened to her.

In a YouTube vlog uploaded by MattSteph Vlogs, Stephen went emotional as she recalled to her older brother. According to the It’s Showtime dancer, her brother had cancer and passed away.

She shared that her brother used to bring her to work and drive her home. However, when he got sick, she had to commute from Las Pinas to Quezon City every day and there were times that she came late to work.

Stephen shared that she learned about the severe illness of her brother while she was working for Tawag ng Tanghalan.

“Nung time na nag-aabsent ako noon sa trabaho, sa show, sa Showtime, ‘yun na-depress ako noon kasi ‘yun nga, nung nalaman ko,” she said.

“Nasa ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ pa ako noon, naga-assist ako ng mga contestant nung nalaman kong may cancer si Kuya, cancer sa baga,” she added.

The passing of her brother really affected her and her career. She admitted going through depression after he passed away.

“Parang bumasag ‘yung langit at lupa sa’kin nung nalaman ko. Kasi syempre, hindi ka makapag-focus sa trabaho mo kasi ganun, pero syempre kailangan mo maging matatag,” she said.

Stephen became popular as a dancer on It’s Showtime along with Sanrio and Ate Girl Jackie. She is also a vlogger now on YouTube.

Earlier, Stephen finally put an end to the issue that she is a transgender woman. She clarified that she is biologically a woman.

She also introduced her boyfriend, Matt, who is the brother of the famous Kapamilya actor, JM de Guzman.
