Richard Yap gave an insightful interview on the latest episode of ABS-CBN Star Cinema’s “I Feel U.”
KAMI learned that one of the topics they discussed is Richard’s sources of income amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the actor, his restaurant business suffered severely during the health crisis and many of his employees lost their jobs.
Furthermore, Richard said that he lost many showbiz projects due to the franchise renewal rejection of ABS-CBN.
Despite these issues, the actor is pushing on and is thinking of new businesses to put up for his family.

‘Yung restaurant business, grabe yung effect doon. It’s given us a lot of hardship especially to all our employees also kasi karamihan walang trabaho. Siyempre, saan mo kukunin 'yung ipambabayad mo ng every day necessities di ba.
“Alam naman natin na nawalan din tayo ng mga projects because of what happened to our home network. That also caused a lot of stress not only for us but for everyone who’s been working there. Dagdag hirap talaga.
“It’s brought us a lot of time to think also and brainstorm. While we are on lockdown, we came up with other ideas and new business also for the kids,” Richard revealed.

Richard Yap is a Filipino-Chinese actor, best known for his roles on the teleseryes “My Binondo Girl” and “Be Careful With My Heart.” He is also the owner of Wangfu, which has several branches across the nation.

Richard Yap called out the electric company Meralco after receiving a whopping utility bill. He received a bill amounting to P55,652.01, which prompted the actor to call out Meralco on Twitter.
