Karylle reveals getting paid P2,500 as staff of Yael's band Sponge Cola

Karylle recently shared that she became the staff and the technical person behind her husband, Yael Yuzon's band, Sponge Cola.

It can be worth noting that due to the pandemic, the works of various celebrities in the local showbiz industry have been put to a stop.

Furthermore, KAMI also learned that the Kapamilya singer revealed that Yael even gives her a salary for her work as a staff member and technical person for the band.

According to the report done by PhilStar (authored by Boy Abunda), Karylle shared that despite the issues brought by the pandemic, including the lockdown, the singer is still happy to be able to spend time with her husband in their home.

"There’s always singing in this home. In the beginning of the quarantine, we were quickly adjusting because the first call for fundraiser came in and that was Bayanihan Musikahan.

"The group of Mr. C (Ryan Cayabyab), who is our ninong sa kasal, raised about 120 million. So it was very productive, very positive way to deal with the pandemic,” the singer shared.

Karylle even revealed that she and Yael bought new pieces of equipment for their online singing sessions.

She also expressed her support for her husband and his band's online performances on Facebook.

"We bought a laptop, mic, because I broke a mic. It was Yael’s gift from a Canada tour. Yun yung naipon niya from the tour. I have broken a guitar and a mic, grabe! We quickly adjusted, the house became the stage."

The 'Its' Showtime' host and singer then revealed that she became the band's staff member and technical person, "I transitioned to becoming Yael and the band’s technical person and their staff.

"So ako na yung nag-e-e-cam kapag may Facebook Live sila every Thursday. And then good news came this week, may sweldo na ako, P2,500."
