Robin Padilla, a Muslim, took to social media to send a romantic and heartwarming message to his Catholic wife, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla.

KAMI learned that Robin penned an insightful 10th wedding anniversary message to his beloved partner.

According to the actor, he and Mariel got married three times – the first one a Muslim wedding, the second one a Born Again Christian wedding, and the third an Igorot wedding – 10 years ago.

He explained that they did so as a form of blessing and protection from all of the people who want them torn apart from each other.

Robin also revealed his hope that they will also have a Catholic wedding and a civil wedding in the future to renew their vows.

“Una tayong Kinasal sa Islam Alhamdulillah sumunod sa born again at sa igorot kulang pa tayo ng catholic at civil rights in shaa Allah lahat ng blessing at panalangin ay ating ipinagpapasalamat bilang panlaban natin sa mga malalapit at malalayo sa atin na nais tayong mabigo at magkahiwalay.

“Panalangin ko na mabiyayaan pa tayo ng buhay at lakas para matupad pa natin ang lahat ng mga wedding rights na ating pinangarap. Tunay na Walang tatalo sa adrenaline high ng pag ibig at kasal every second of it is worship to the Almighty creator.

“Thank you my babe sa 10 taon na pagiging kapitan ng aking barko without your sailing patience matagal na akong na abandoned ship.. maraming maraming salamat,” Robin posted on Instagram.

Robin Padilla is a famous movie and television actor in the Philippines, best known for his action movies and for being a vocal supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go. He is married to actress Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, who he has two children with – Isabella and Gabriela.

Recently, his wife Mariel went viral for expressing her support for employees of the Kapamilya network after ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal was rejected by the Congress.
