August 16, 2020 marks the third death anniversary of Kian delos Santos. The court handed down a guilty verdict on the three cops who were accused of his murder, Rappler reported.
The cops were from Caloocan City and they accused Kian of being linked to drugs.
The murder took place in 2017 and their version was that it was just part of the operation, they did not specifically target delos Santos, and that he was the first one who fired at them.
Witnesses' accounts however, revealed, that Kian was dragged t a pigpen, was even pleading for his life, then the witnesses heard gunshots. Here are some of the tweets made on Twitter regarding his death.
According to Bishop David the drug war of Pres. Duterte was the biggest lie to Filipinos. The bishop said he does not believe that the President's war could actually stop "illegal drugs."
In fact, in another report, the President even admitted that the narcotics problem worsened amid drug war.
The Drug War is one of the priorities of Pres. Duterte when he was elected.
