"Save what you earn and spend what is left, instead of saving what is left after spending what you earn. Yun ang pinaka-importanteng natutunan ko when it comes to handling money," the singer began in his post.
He then shared that back in the day, he used to refuse to invest in a business because he had no time to manage them.
Chito went on to write that after the lockdown was implemented, he is still able to get money from his other sources of funds despite having no gigs.
Furthermore, the singer also revealed the importance of investing time in his wife to support her. According to Chito, Neri now earns more than him because of her various businesses.
"Ngayon, mas malaki na sya kumita kesa sakin (even before mawala yung gigs!), at nung tumigil yung tugtugan, at least hindi ako masyado na-stress.
"Dahil aside from the fact na nakagawa ako ng mga secondary sources of income, alam ko na kaya kaming buhayin ng asawa ko sa pamamagitan ng pagbenta ng tuyo, suka, kape, at beddings."
Aside from this, the Parokya ni Edgar frontman wrote in his online post that Neri even bought the land he was planning to buy for him.
"Siya yung nagtuloy sa mga natigil kong mga plano... tulad ng lupa na 'to na balak ko bilin pero na-udlot dahil sa covid. Binili niya para sa akin," he wrote.

"Tama po, sinesave ko muna 30% sweldo ng mister bago gastusin ang allowance na di naman din nauubos.

"Lahat ng sinabi mo tama. Sabi nila behind every successful man is a woman, tama din naman pero para sa akin, it takes one to tango. Yung success niyo as a couple ay dahil sa inyo rin 2, the way you support your wife and the way she supports you is awesome."
