In his online post, Chito wrote, "Good morning!

According to the singer, his gigs have been stopped and most of the restaurants and bars that he is a co-owner of have closed.

"In my case, tumigil ang gigs.

However, Chito added that he is still getting funds from his condo and townhouse which are up for rent, "Buti nalang meron akong condo at townhouse na pinaparent... at least may monthly income ako, just enough to sustain my family's needs."

Furthermore, the singer also recounted the time when his schedule was packed with gigs, "Pero naaalala ko, bago mag-lockdown, sobrang sagad ng sked namin sa Parokya.

"And kahit gusto ko mag-slow down sa pagbabanda to have more time for my family (not naman "totally quit", but to just "cut down" dahil sobrang enjoy pa naman ako tumugtog), hindi ko magawa dahil di ako makatanggi sa laki ng tf...mukha kasi akong pera hehe!

Chito ended his post by sharing that due to the pandemic, they were given a chance to take a break. He also shared that despite the fact he is not earning as much unlike before, he now has more time to spend with his family.

"Our current situation is far from ideal, but we still have a lot to be thankful for. Let us always remind ourselves to count our blessings," Chito wrote.
