Celebrities are among the first ones who experience lots of bashing. For instance, when the shut down of ABS-CBN was carried out, Regine Velasquez expressed strong words over it. She said that after everything, they will come back better and brighter. Obviously she was bashed for it.

After this, Kim Chiu became viral because of her "Bawal Lumabas." The singer-actress also expressed sympathy towards the younger actress.

Glaiza was also among those who defended ABS-CBN, which is one of the most popular media and entertainment outfits in the Philippines. It has produced top-caliber stars, well-loved programs, and timely news. Some of the popular shows are “It’s Showtime” and “TV Patrol.”
