Ogie Diaz posts frank message for Cong. Mike Defensor, "Pray for your daughter's basher"

- Ogie Diaz gave unsolicited advice to Anakalusugan Rep. Mike Defensor

- The solon earlier filed a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation after his daughter, Juliana, received a death threat

- The talent manager said that like him, who experienced bashing before, the congressman might have done something that did not sit well with other people

- He then told the congressman to pray for his daughter's bashers, and to just block them, lest they increase in number and the nephew of the late Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago would lack the time to think of how to further put down an already crawling ABS-CBN

Ogie Diaz took to Facebook and wrote an open-letter to Cong. Mike Defensor, who happens to be the nephew the late Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago.

The comedian and talent manager gave a lengthy message to the congressman who was one of those in the Zoom meeting with Deputy Speakers Rodante Marcoleta and Jesus Crispin Remulla, Deputy Speaker Dan Fernandez, and Journalie Payonan.

"Dear Cong. Mike Defensor,

Nagbanta ang isang netizen na gustong patayin ang anak mong walang kamuwang-muwang, tama ang naisip mo, hanapin mo at idemanda mo yung basher na yon, Congressman.

Kahit ako, kahit hindi ako pulitiko, nakakatikim din ng lupit ng mga bashers ang mga anak ko.

Feeling ko, resulta yon ng ginawa kong paniniwala o pakikipaglaban sa aking mga ipino-post na para sa iba ay mali, kaya yung mga anak ko ang pinupuntirya ng bashing.

Ganon din ikaw, Congressman, pareho lang tayo. Me ginawa ka na feeling ng iba, mali, kaya sasaktan ka nila sa kung saan ka pinakamahina — sa mga anak mo.

Ipagdasal mo na lang sila, Congressman. Ipagpasadiyos mo na lang at i-block mo na lang sila. Payo ko lang naman.

Dahil baka lalo lang manganak ang bilang ng mang-aasar sa yo, eh manganganak din yung idedemanda mo.

Baka hindi ka na maka-concentrate sa pag-iisip kung paano pa ingungudngod ang nakadapa nang ABS-CBN, dahil inubos mo na ang panahon mo sa mga taong kalaban ng ipinaglalaban mo.

Kung itutuloy mo ang demanda, go ahead. You all have the right to do it, dahil tatay ka at marapat lang na ikaw ang unang tagapagtanggol ng mga anak mo.

Pero ikaw na rin lang ang pinag-uusapan, gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa yo, dahil me anak kang pinalaki mo na may wastong pag-iisip. Na kahit siguro pinagpaliwanagan mo pa siya ay nanaig pa rin sa kanya ang awa sa mga mawawalan ng trabaho.

Kahit magkaiba kayo ng paniniwala, maraming humanga sa dalaga mong anak na pinagana ang puso para sa 11k workers ng ABS-CBN.

“But at the end of the day, I’m not the one in Congress. And more importantly, I am NOT my father. My heart goes out to those who are greatly affected by this, most especially the 11,000 workers who have lost their jobs in the middle of a pandemic.”

Oo naman, anak. Totoo ka. You are not your father. Maraming salamat. I owe you one, Mikee."
