Sofia Andres finally revealed the reason why she chose not to publicize her pregnancy last year.

KAMI learned that on a busy shooting day for an endorsement in February 2019, the actress found out that she was pregnant with her child with her boyfriend Daniel Miranda, a 23-year-old race car driver.
However, she kept mum about it and stayed for six months in Australia, where Daniel is studying, until she gave birth to their daughter named Zoe Natalia Miranda in November last year.
Sofia then created buzz after she announced on June 21, 2020, Father’s Day, that she and Daniel are already parents.

In an episode of the ABS-CBN online show “I Feel U” on July 19, the Kapamilya actress explained that she kept her pregnancy as a secret to avoid stress.
“Tinake ko lang 'yung advice ng sister ko, na 'pag daw hindi stressful ang pregnancy, nagre-reflect daw sa bata 'yun.”
“I think, kaya ko po 'yun ginawang private kasi para carefree ako, wala akong stress na iniintindi.”
“Na parang, I don’t have to listen to other people na, ‘Bakit ka nanganak nang maaga and all that?’ Parang nakaka-stress.”
