Jang Lucero has made headlines in recent days after she was found dead inside her car in Calamba, Laguna, according to a report by Darlene Cay for the GMA News program, “Unang Balita.”
The victim sidelined as a driver after she lost her job due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the community quarantine.
KAMI learned that several days before her death, she posted on Facebook a special message for the LGBT community and her potential customers.
According to Jang, LGBT members are safe riding her car because she is a member of the community as well.
She also promised her potential customers that she is a nice driver who can give them a good price for her services. Jang added in jest that those who will book a ride with her will have a lucky future.

Jang Lucero’s girlfriend, Meyah Amatorio, revealed that the victim told her that she would be transporting three passengers from Laguna to Gil Puyat, Manila.
When she could not contact Lucero anymore on her cellphone hours later, she decided to seek the police’s help. She added that she is not aware of any feud or conflict involving her girlfriend.
The PNP has announced that they already identified the persons of interest involving the case but that they are still trying to build a strong case against those people.
A person with a codename “Alyas Althea” is tagged as the mastermind behind the gruesome murder. CCTV footage of Jang Lucero picking up her last passengers has also surfaced online, which has helped authorities in identifying the persons of interest.
