Vice Ganda recently aired his honest and serious reaction to the news that the comedy bars owned by Allan K have closed down permanently.
KAMI learned that Klownz and Zirkoh, both prominent businesses of the Kapuso celebrity, needed to stop their operation because of bankruptcy.
During the recent episode of “It’s Showtime,” Vice admitted to feeling sad upon learning the fate of comedy bars amid pandemic.
The “Unkabogable Star” also mentioned that he could not imagine a society without comedy bars and he pointed out that many comedians have lost their jobs because of what happened.
“Talagang nakakalungkot kasi sa sitwasyon ngayon, walang choice yung mga comedy bars kung hindi magsara na… Ang daming komedyante ang nawalan ng trabaho,” he quipped.
“Yung legacy ng comedy bar, parang hindi ko ma-imagine na mawawala na totally ang comedy bars sa lipunan,” he added.
