Richard Gomez airs honest opinion on issues of Sharon Cuneta and Frankie Pangilinan

Richard Gomez was recently interviewed by entertainment writer and talent manager Ogie Diaz in one of his Facebook live sessions with various celebrities in the showbiz industry.
During the interview, KAMI learned that Ogie asked Richard about the bashing and backlash Sharon Cuneta and her daughter, Kakie Pangilinan have faced on social media.
It can be worth noting that Kakie was sent an online rȧpe threat which prompted Sharon to coordinate with the NBI over the issue.

According to Richard, one of the biggest problems with social media is that anyone can post anything, “Yun ang problema, kasi sa social media. It's free media. Anybody can just post anything.
"Pag-post ng opinion nila, mag-post ng galit nila. Siguro tayong mga artista, we really have to accept the fact na merong may gusto sa atin at merong ayaw.”
The Mayor of Ormoc City also added, "So minsan, masakit at napupuno ka na, kahit naman ako sumasagot ako sa mga ganyan pag binabash ako. Tao rin tayo na nasasaktan, taong may damdamin syempre kung may titira satin na ganun kung minsan sumasagot talaga tayo.
"Pero ako naman, I try to control myself. Kahit naman ako madaling mapikon, so, ang ginagawa ko kung kaya ko silang i-delete, dini-delete ko sila, kung kaya so silang i-block, bina-block ko sila."
Aside from this, one of the topics the two also briefly discussed was Sharon's issue with Ronaldo Carballo, a showbiz reporter.
“That is her right kung ano ang gusto niyang ikaso. Pero parang nakita kong humingi na yata siya ng paumanhin, well it’s her right,” Richard said.

As reported earlier by KAMI, Mayor Richard Gomez took to Facebook to express his anger and frustration over the handling of returning residents. Goma said that they received a text message about three planes arriving in Tacloban and there was an instruction that they would have to receive them.
Richard Gomez is a Filipino politician and a former actor. He is the husband of Lucy Torres. The couple has one daughter — Julianna Gomez.
