A controversial blog posted an intriguing statement concerning Ethel Booba and her relative.

KAMI learned that the said incident happened after the comedienne revealed that the Twitter account under her name is “fake.”

The said account was popular for its witty and intense comments about the Philippine government and the showbiz industry.

Many netizens think that the celebrity was paid to stop being a critic of President Rodrigo Duterte.

Amid the confusion, the Facebook blog called “Thinking Pinoy” then claimed that the brother of Ethel is actually working for the government.

It specifically revealed that Virnard Gabison is a researcher under the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).

“FYI, Ethel Booba’s brother Virnard Gabison is a researcher working at PCOO,” the blog said.

Ethel has yet to issue a response regarding the claim of the said controversial blog.
