Ryan Bang recently received heavy backlash on social media because of his messages for Irene, a member of the famous K-Pop girl group called Red Velvet.
KAMI learned that the prominent actor commented on the Instagram live video of his fellow Korean and many people did not like what he said.
He commented the words “Fudgee Bar,” “Mamaya tawagan kita,” and “Wag kang magtampo” on the video of the said K-Pop star.
He also retweeted a screenshot of his controversial comments and he put the words “Masarap talaga” in the caption.
Many netizens were quick to criticize the “It’s Showtime” host for the alleged weird tone that he used in his greetings for Irene.

Because of that, Ryan decided to explain his action and he straightforwardly clarified that his comments have no other meaning.
He said that the Red Velvet member has been really kind to him and he can feel that she really loves the Philippines.
The TV host also apologized to people who may have been offended by his comments and he reiterated that he did not mean anything bad.
“Nakakalungkot po yung ibang tao akala nila iba pang meaning sa comment at tweet ko. Sobra pong bait niya sa akin at noong nagka-usap ko siya naramdaman ko mahal niya ang Philippines kaya po ako naging isang fan niya!” he quipped.
“I just want to say that there was no intent on my part to offend anyone, but if i did, i am truly very sorry. Humihingi po ako ng pasensya sa lahat. Maraming salamat po! Please keep safe and healthy everyone!” he added.
