Regine Velasquez took to social media to defend the ABS-CBN network, which is facing possible closure due to its franchise issues.
KAMI learned that some netizens wrote in the comments section that the main reason for the closure is because the Kapamilya network did not pay its taxes properly.
The famous singer responded to those allegations by saying that if the problem involved tax, then the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) would have been the one to file charges.
