The Technological Institute of the Philippines is an academic institution whose goal is to empower Filipino learners by the use of education powered by the technology of the highest standard thus employing outcomes-based education and top-of-the-line laboratories. The Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) is a private, non-sectarian educational institution founded on February 8, 1962. The primary objective of their high institution is to maintain a high standard in their education methods while making efforts to take the benefits of high education to a wider population. By specializing in the teaching of technology, the school offers education of excellent quality to its learners.

TIP is one of the schools in Manila with the most international accreditations. Their certifications are mostly given by the US-based Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. As of this writing, twenty of their Engineering programs are accredited by the board.

The Academic Registration and Information System (ARIS) is an online service portal created by the university to aid its students, parents, and staff in several of their academics-related transactions. These include:

Since the school has two campuses, the institution has a separate portal for each one. ARIS portal TIP Manila and ARIS portal TIP Quezon. Aside from the difference in location, the services provided are the same and can be accessed using the same methods.
