Marcelito Pomoy willingly admitted to the public that he also encountered difficulties during his much-talked-about performance in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”
KAMI learned that the Filipino singer joined the said international competition and he sang both the male and female parts of “The Prayer.”
He was able to wow the American judges and audience of the popular show and he successfully advanced to the semifinals.
Through a lengthy social media post, Marcelito expressed his gratitude to the people who showed support to him on his “America’s Got Talent” journey.
He also thanked his wife for being by his side when he went to the stage to introduce himself to the judges and millions of viewers.
The “Pilipinas Got Talent 2011” winner revealed that he had difficulty adjusting to the mechanics of the show since he was told to cut his performance to 2 minutes.
He stressed that the time allotted for him was too short since he used to sing the entire “The Prayer” by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
The singer also quipped that he was really nervous during his performance because he knows that the contest is for all the champions of “Got Talent” franchises.
