Carla Abellana revealed the real reason behind her weight gain.

In one of her Instagram posts that shows a screenshot of her YouTube channel, she asked her followers if they have noticed that she has gained weight during her stay in Osaka, Japan.

She wrote, "Have you seen my latest Vlog already? Nakita niyo na ba kung paano ako lumobo ng husto sa Osaka dahil sa mga sakit ko?"

The Kapuso star was even asked by a netizen which she addressed politely.

"Hi, ask ko lang kung anu naging sakit nya at bigla siya tumaba? Thanks," the netizen commented on her IG post.

She answered, "@jinkyaquino18 asthma, tachycardia, hypothyroidism and liver damage po."

On the same IG post, she also said that she's getting better now.

"Thank goodness i’m getting better now. ," she wrote.

Moreover, lots of netizens left comforting words in the comment section of her post.

"Palagi kayong dalawa ni Tom kasama sa prayers ko"

"ohh my my, please, God total healing for our @carlaangeline."
