On Friday, December 13, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Director General Aaron Aquino said that media personalities in the high-value targets are not only drug users but also protectors of syndicates.
KAMI learned that after the agency's announcement, GMA Network released a statement about the matter immediately.
"GMA Network strictly adheres to its company-wide drug-free policy."
"In line with this, the Network seeks to be informed of the names of the media personalities allegedly included in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency's (PDEA) drug-watchlist to enable us to undertake appropriate measures as deemed necessary."
On Saturday, December 14, the network has requested the release of the names of its artists who are included in PDEA's watch list.
