Ion Perez had an exclusive interview with comedian-manager Ogie Diaz about his romantic relationship with Vice Ganda.

KAMI learned that Ion denied in the interview that he got into a relationship with Vice because of the latter’s fame and fortune.

The “It’s Showtime” star said that he is truly in love with the Kapamilya comedian. Ion also challenged the people who accuse him of only being after Vice’s money to spend a day with him to see if the claim is consistent with his character.

“Hindi ko po kayang gawin yun sa kanya.

"Kasi kung ginawa ko po yun sa kanya, parang wala na rin akong pinagkaiba sa mga nakaraan na nanloko sa kanya…

“Sa lahat ng nag-iisip na pineperahan ko si Vice Ganda, mga tsong, siguro masasabi ko lang sa inyo, pakisamahan niyo lang ako sa maghapon.

“Kung may nasabi kayo sa pag-uugali ko, magpapaalila ako sa inyo habang buhay,” Ion told Ogie.

Vice Ganda is one of the most famous celebrities in the Philippines. Aside from hosting “It’s Showtime,” his movies are usually the top-grossing films at the annual Metro Manila Film Festival. He is rumored to be in a relationship with Ion Perez.
