"With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer," Kelly shared. She also added how her husband loved life, "Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible."

McMahon, who passed away on Wednesday in Clearwater, Florida, according to a report by the BBC, was best known for his striking and compelling performances as the sinister yet charismatic Doctor Doom in the 2005 Fantastic Four film, and as the complex plastic surgeon Christian Troy in the critically acclaimed TV series Nip/Tuck, where he starred alongside actor Dylan Walsh.

In a tribute published by CNN, McMahon's works in the industry have been shared and listed.
