The cause of Juliana Marins' death has now been confirmed through her autopsy results.
According to the findings, Marins died due to internal bleeding brought about by severe damage to her internal organs and multiple bone fractures.
As previously reported, Marins, a Brazilian hiker, fell while climbing Mount Rinjani in Indonesia.
In a report by PhilSTAR Life, citing local outlet Agência Brasil, it was stated that "the injuries are said to have stemmed from blunt force trauma a few hours before the body was retrieved."

Marins, the 26-year-old hiker, immediately died in just less than 20 minutes after the internal bleeding began.
On June 27, local coroner Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Alit said that there were "no signs of hypothermia or prolonged suffering after the injury."
Juliana's final autopsy and toxicology results are expected to be out in a matter of two weeks.
It can be recalled that on June 21, Marins was climbing Mount Rinjani when she fell from a cliff situated near the volcano's crater.
Before the tragic accident, Marins managed to send heartbreaking messages to her mother.
"Mami, I love you so much. I was heartbroken when we said goodbye. In fact, that’s the only thing that worries me: letting you, papi or my sister be disappointed. Other than that, I’m not afraid of much, much less trouble.”

Authorities from the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) are now conducting search operations within the area.
