The Decker sisters' autopsy results have been released, and they revealed a chilling truth about how they died.

It was earlier reported by authorities that the Decker sisters were allegedly killed by their own father, Travis.

The Chelan County Sheriff's Office in Washington, U.S., confirmed that Paityn (9 years old), Evelyn (8 years old), and Olivia Decker (5 years old) died from suffocation, based on the autopsy results.

The cause of death was identified as suffocation, and the manner of death was confirmed to be hom!cide, according to the Chelan County Sheriff's Office in a media release shared by PhilSTAR Life in an article.

It can be recalled that on June 02, the Decker sisters were found lifeless near the Rock Island Campground.

Prior to their deaths, it had been three days since the girls were last seen by their father, Travis Decker.

The sisters were found after the authorities found Travis' pickup truck. There, investigators discovered a "large amount of evidence," which included tons of Travis' personal belongings.

"The suspect’s dog was recovered and turned over to the humane society for safe care," the Chelan County Sheriff's Office later added. "Blood samples taken from the scene have come back positive for belonging to a male, and another was not human blood. Further DNA and fingerprint analyses are still being conducted."

Travis is still at large and is now wanted for murder, kidnapping, and custodial interference, per a PEOPLE Magazine report.
