A man from Lima, Peru, was arrested by the Green Squadron of the Peruvian Police.
Officers used Valentine's Day as an opportunity to apprehend the man, who was accused of selling illegal drugs.
One officer dressed in a capybara mascot costume and pretended to deliver a Valentine's surprise to the suspect.
As soon as they entered his home, they immediately arrested the man, who denied the accusations of using and selling illegal drugs.

However, police authorities found over 1,700 packs of illegal substances and marijuana.
The Green Squadron of the Peruvian Police is known for its tricky way of arresting crime offenders.
Their undercover agents disguise themselves in different costumes and use special occasions in implementing their arrests.
The video of the man's arrest went viral online and people started calling the mascot "cop-ybara."
According to the United Nations, Peru remains to be one of the biggest suppliers of coca leaf and marijuana all over the world.
For the past years, authorities started to be creative in dealing with crime offenders such as the way of the Green Squadron of the Peruvian Police.
