It can be recalled that the said plane collided with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter at around 9:00 PM, Wednesday, and crashed into the Potomac River.
Meanwhile, in a report by GMA News Online, Russia's TASS and RIA news reported two former figure skating champions were also among the victims.

A now-viral video showed the PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet was about to land when the Army helicopter allegedly transcended and hit it. The passenger plane carried 60 passengers and 4 crew members, while the U.S. Army helicopter had 3 military personnel. In a message delivered by the US President in The White House, he confirmed there were "no survivors" from the tragic accident.
Meanwhile, in local news, a wanted man in Basud, Camarines Norte was arrested in Laguna for allegedly taking advantage of his 16-year-old stepsister. According to the victim, she lost control of herself due to too much intoxication. She, her stepbrother, and other friends were drinking in July 2023, and she woke up from the heinous crime being committed by three men including her stepbrother. The other two suspects were first arrested by the police, and the victim's stepbrother was arrested after over a year.
