- A now-viral video showed the PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet was about to land when the Army helicopter allegedly transcended and hit it
- The passenger plane carried 60 passengers and 4 crew members, while the U.S. Army helicopter had 3 military personnel
- In a message delivered by the US President in The White House, he confirmed there were "no survivors" from the tragic accident

According to a news article by Reuters, Senator Maria Cantwell confirmed casualties included citizens from Russia, Germany, and the Philippines.
Recovery operations are being conducted by the US Coast Guard and other related agencies.
This tragic incident is now the deadliest air-related disaster in the US in more than 2 decades.
