He managed to escape the security of the airlines, that's why he made it all the way to the runway.
The pilots were in the process of maneuvering their aircraft when the man suddenly appeared and caused a 10-minute delay on the flight.
Soon, an employee of the airlines and a patrol vehicle came to take him out of the way.
They took the man in their custody and turned him over to the police. He will be charged accordingly for what he has done.
If a passenger is late for their flight, the procedure depends on the airline’s policies and ticket type. Some airlines offer a grace period or a "flat-tire rule," allowing rebooking if the passenger arrives shortly after departure.
If no such policy applies, the ticket may be marked as a no-show, potentially canceling connecting or return flights. The passenger should immediately contact the airline’s ticket counter or customer service to check for options like standby seating, rebooking for a fee, or purchasing a new ticket.
Travel insurance may cover missed flights, and if no alternative is available, the passenger can explore other airlines or routes to reach their destination.
