A monk was hurt after a python wrapped itself around his body and bit him in Bangkok, Thailand. The incident was caught on CCTV and later aired on Unang Balita on Wednesday.

Video footage showed the monk approaching his fellow monks while asking for help. A large python was already tightly coiled around his body at that time. Moments later, the snake tightened its grip around his neck, causing the monk to collapse and lose consciousness.

Other monks quickly rushed to his aid and worked together to remove the python from his body. Their quick action helped stop the snake from tightening its hold any further.
