Sixteen people died after an air strike hit near the Gaza European Hospital in the afternoon of May 13, Tuesday.

CCTV footage showed what happened moments before the incident outside the hospital.

People were going about their day when they suddenly ducked, seemingly after hearing the sound of the approaching air strike.

Just seconds later, the air strike landed outside the hospital, killing 16 people and injuring 70 others, according to a report by Pia Arcangel in GMA 7's 'SAKSI.'

According to the same report, the Israeli Military said they hit the Hamas Command Center underneath the hospital.

Based on reports of the Israeli press, the air strike had possibly killed some military leaders of Hamas.

Meanwhile, Hamas denied the allegations that they're using hospitals and civilian properties in the war.

Hamas is a Palestinian militant and political group that was founded in 1987 during the First Intifada.

It is known for its armed resistance against Israel and has governed the Gaza Strip since 2007.

The group is considered a terrorist organization by countries like the United States, the European Union, and Israel.

While it provides social services in Gaza, Hamas is also frequently involved in violent conflicts with Israeli forces.

Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
