According to investigations, before going to the gym, the man was complaining about a pain in his chest.
Reportedly, his gym trainer has already advised him to skip his gym sessions, especially lifting heavy weights.
However, the 51-year-old man didn't take his trainer's advice and still went to the gym, where he had a heart attack.
A heart attack usually happens when something blocks the blood flow to the heart. The most common cause is clogged arteries due to fat, cholesterol, or other substances that build up over time.
High blood pressure also plays a big role because it damages the arteries and puts extra strain on the heart. Smoking adds to the risk by reducing oxygen in the blood and damaging blood vessels.
Not getting enough exercise can lead to weight gain and other heart-related issues, especially when combined with an unhealthy diet full of salty, fatty, or sugary foods. Stress is another factor, as constant pressure can raise blood pressure and affect the heart.
People with diabetes are also at risk since it affects how the body handles blood sugar and can harm the heart over time. Lastly, if heart disease runs in the family, a person’s chances of having a heart attack are naturally higher.
