According to investigations, the driver allegedly lost control of the huge vehicle that's why it ended up getting into an accident.

Fault in a truck accident depends on the circumstances, particularly whether negligence or a preventable issue played a role.

The driver may be responsible if they were speeding, fatigued, intoxicated, or reckless. If mechanical failure caused the accident due to faulty brakes, steering issues, or poor maintenance, the trucking company, maintenance crew, or manufacturer could be liable.

Employer negligence, such as overworking drivers, inadequate training, or providing unsafe vehicles, might also contribute to responsibility.

Additionally, poorly maintained roads or another driver’s reckless behavior could shift liability to local authorities or third parties. In cases where an unavoidable natural event, such as a landslide or extreme weather, caused the accident, no one may be legally at fault.

Investigators determine responsibility by examining evidence like black box data, dash cam footage, witness reports, and maintenance records.
