An 85-year-old woman from Thailand surprised everyone in a very unexpected way.

According to a report on TV 5's "Frontline Pilipinas," the elderly woman did not wake up from her sleep on February 5.

She had no pulse and had completely stopped breathing.

Her family immediately called an ambulance for emergency assistance, and for 40 minutes, the elderly woman was presumed dead.

When the elderly woman was about to be brought to a funeral parlor, for some unknown reason, she opened her eyes.

Her loved ones were in total shock after what had happened and looked at the odd incident as a second chance in life given to the elderly woman.

After waking up, the 85-year-old woman was acting like a baby, asking for care, craving sweet treats, and even throwing a tantrum.

Because of her behavior, the family of the old woman decided to bring her to a hospital to be checked.

According to a doctor, the sudden change in the woman's behavior was because of her old age.

Meanwhile, the elderly woman waking up after allegedly dying for 40 minutes remains a puzzle for everyone.

What matters most, especially to the elderly woman's family, is that she's now away from harm.

According to the police, the body was in fetal position, clothes were intact, but wounds were found on her body.
