Eumir Marcial, sinampahan ng kaso ng asawa dahil sa umano'y "alleged infidelity"

Princess Marcial, the wife of Olympian Eumir Marcial, filed a case against the boxer for alleged infidelity.

She took to Facebook and made a post on Jan. 10 where she described her relationship with her husband as a "sickening love affair."

She recounted the time that she and her sister allegedly caught the boxer in a Pasay condominium in an act of infidelity.

Thereafter, the boxer was detained, but Princess also issued an affidavit of desistance.

“Despite some of my family’s strong disapproval, I still gave Eumir multiple chances to make amends with our marriage, putting into consideration all that we have gone through and the difficult things we have survived as a couple,” she wrote.

“As his wife, I felt then that I still owe Eumir the responsibility to forgive him," she added.

Previously, Eumir shared on Instagram his feelings about not winning the Olympic gold medal.

He said that it is painful for him not to win the gold medal that he and his father have been dreaming of since he was young.

According to the boxer, he went through a lot of trials and challenges just to be able to qualify for the Olympics.

Eumir Marcial is a Filipino boxer who has represented the Philippines in numerous worldwide competitions. He recently won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. The athlete will receive millions of pesos and other incentives for his incredible performance.

As previously reported by KAMI, Eumir Marcial won the bronze medal for the Philippines at the Tokyo Olympics. He was beaten by Oleksandr Khyzhniak of Ukraine in his final match.

The fighter also received support from fellow athlete Hidilyn Diaz, who cheered for him to go for the gold medal before his last fight. Hidilyn, a weightlifter, won the Philippines’ first-ever Olympic gold medal.
