Another history has been made in the world of basketball. During the game of Golden State Warriors (GSW) and Chicago Bulls, Klay Thompson has broken the record of most three-pointers made in a game.

KAMI learned that Thompson made 14 three-point shots within the 3rd quarter of the game. He surpassed the record of his teammate, Stephen Curry with 13 three-pointers.

Thompson aced the game with 52 points in just 27 minutes. He stepped out of the court during the third quarter. This led a victory for Warriors over Bulls, 149-124.

According to Thompson, Curry has been supportive of him to “go get it” and that he was so “unselfish” to let him hit the new record.

The GSW also had a new franchise record and NBA record for having 92 points and 17 three-pointers during the half of the game as reported by CBS Sports.

As previously reported by KAMI, Curry scored 51 points during the last game against Washington Wizards. Since Curry joined the Golden State Warriors, they have been the NBA champion for seasons 2015, 2017 and 2018.
