Jessie Magdaleno remains undefeated after fight with Nonito Donaire Jr

- The Mexican boxer beat Nonito Donaire Jr. for the WBO super bantamweight title with scores of 116-112, 116-112 and 118-110

- Donaire believed that he has won the fight since he was able to control the second half of the game

Filipino boxer Nonito Donaire Jr. added another loss to his career as he was defeated by Mexican challenger Jessie Magdaleno on their fight at the Thomas & Mack Center at Las Vegas, Nevada.

Magdaleno, who is hardly a rookie at the sport, proved to be unbeaten as he nabbed Donaire's WBO super bantamweight title.

The Mexican boxer's win on Saturday evening's fight (Sunday morning in Philippine time) is his 24th, which is the same as his age.

Donaire's loss has also ended his four-streak win, now that his record has changed to 37-8.

The judges' final scores were in favor of Magdaleno, as he scored 116-112 twice and 118-110.

The Mexican boxer's defining moment was when pinned Donaire on the rope and unleashed a flurry of attacks on his opponent's head.

Despite Magdaleno's strong attacks, Donaire was able to pick himself up and fight till the very end of the game.

'The Filipino Flash' showed off his remaining strength on the 10th round as he delivered powerful right hard punches from start to end.

The last round became intense as both boxers tried to up each other with heavy blows, until Magdaleno was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Even if the Mexican bet won the game, Donaire strongly believed that he has not lost.

"We definitely won the fight. Losing never crossed my mind. I controlled the second half. I can’t believe it," he said.

Magdaleno lands a hit on Donaire.

He even admitted that he could not understand the scoring used but all his efforts are not gone to waste - a winner is always one when he proves to be a good sport.

At least he survived his bout, just like these pedestrians who have miraculously lived after getting hit by vehicles.
