Boy Abunda, finlex ang isusuot para sa mina-manifest na interview kay Alex Eala

Boy Abunda has already prepared the outfit he plans to wear for the interview he has been manifesting with Filipina tennis star Alex Eala.

During “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Wednesday, August 12, Boy showed off the clothes he has set aside for the occasion. The outfit features white tops with yellow circular accents depicting tennis balls, paired with bright yellow pants.

Boy revealed that he had even reached out to Alex’s uncle, Noli Eala, to ask for help in making the interview happen. He explained that Noli, a former sports commissioner, is also his friend.

“Before the show, tinawagan ko si Noli Eala. He used to be the sports commissioner, kaibigan ko. Sabi ko, Noli, tulungan mo naman ako.”

He then pointed out that his outfit was already prepared specifically for the day Alex eventually makes an appearance on the show.

“Eh nakahanda na ang isusuot kong damit 'pag dumating dito si Alex.”

Boy also directly addressed Alex, letting her know that he is ready whenever she visits the program.

“Kaya Alex, kung nanonood ka, Tito Boy is ready... isusuot ko lang 'yan 'pag nagpunta dito si Alex.”

Alexandra "Alex" Maniego Eala is a trailblazing Filipino professional tennis player who became the first player from the Philippines to win a Grand Slam junior singles title at the 2022 US Open. A product of the Rafa Nadal Academy, she has broken record after record as one of Southeast Asia's highest-ranked female tennis players on the WTA Tour.

Previously, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. congratulated Alex Eala following her historic triumph at the 2026 Mubadala DC Open. She defeated World No. 3 Jessica Pegula in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0, to claim the championship title. The victory made her the first Filipino to win a WTA 500 singles title. PBBM commended Alex for inspiring young Filipino athletes and showing new possibilities for Philippine tennis.
