Carlos Yulo, also known as Golden Boy, recently visited the set of TV5's noontime show, "Eat Bulaga," on Thursday, August 15.
The Olympian surprised "Dear Eat Bulaga" letter sender Jezzy, a 13-year-old gymnast. Jezzy's unexpected meeting with Caloy brought the young gymnast to tears.
Furthermore, Caloy gifted Jezzy with his "pampaswerte" — a plastic box container.
"Sarili mo yan? ’Pag lumalaban ka, dala mo yung sarili mo? Hindi mo ginagamit yung chalk box nila?" Tito Sotto asked the Caloy.

To which the Carlos replied, "Hindi po. May dala po akong sarili."
"Nakakatuwa nga Tito Sen eh, yung iba, ang sososyal pa… Tapos yung kay Caloy, ganyan oh, tupperware. Nakakatuwa," Allan K remarked.

Carlos Edriel Yulo is a Filipino artistic gymnast known for his exceptional skills and achievements in gymnastics. He gained international recognition for his performances in various competitions, particularly in the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. He won two gold medals in gymnastics' men's floor exercise and men's vault in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The teachers of Carlos Yulo had already spoken about the true attitude and character of the Olympian. Many of them have nothing but kind words for him. His science teacher said that the Adamsonians were all so proud of him. Caloy's English teacher noted that one thing that really helped Caloy was his humility, underscoring that he was never "mayabang."
Carlos Yulo along with the rest of the Philippine Olympic Team were given a Heroes’ Welcome Ceremony at the Malacañang Palace. After arriving at the Villamor Airbase around 7:20PM onboard a Philippine Airlines chartered flight where they had a brief respite, they were immediately brought to Malacañang. The 2024 Paris Olympics is considered one of the most successful Olympic campaigns of the Philippines where the country was able to get two gold medals, courtesy of Carlos, and two bronze medals, courtesy of Aira Villegas and Nesthy Petecio.
