After the picture made the rounds on social media, the TV presenter took to Twitter to post a screenshot of a malicious message she received.
“Hey Gretchen, I hope you’re doing well. Advice ko lang sayo is don’t ride the C*CK CAROUSEL okay? It will damage you emotionally and mentally,” the message reads.
Gretchen then expressed, “Geez. When you take fan photos with NBA players, why do people immediately assume something happened.”
“I have gotten this so many times. Pwede ba.”
Gretchen Ho is a television host and former volleyball player in the Philippines. She played volleyball for the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2008 to 2013. Her popularity rose when she became a co-host on Umagang Kay Ganda, TV Patrol, and The Score.
Gretchen earlier posted about how proud she is of Filipino weightlifter Hidilyn Diaz. On her Instagram account, Gretchen showed close-up photos of Hidilyn’s Olympic Gold Medal. She is grateful to Hidilyn for allowing her to hold and inspect the prestigious medal. The sports reporter was feeling extremely emotional as she interacted with the Philippines’ first Olympic gold medalist.
Gretchen is also finally getting her dream of studying at the prestigious Harvard University come true. The TV presenter and former volleyball star was accepted at the Harvard Business School almost two years ago, but the coronavirus pandemic stopped her from going there at the time. Previous reports say that Gretchen would be attending “The Business of Entertainment, Media & Sports,” which is a short course at the Ivy League school in Boston, Massachusetts.
