Kiefer Ravena responded to a netizen who called him out for wearing a pair of soon-to-be-released Nike shoes.
In a photo, Kiefer was seen wearing the limited edition of the Jordan IV Retro 'Manila' from Nike. The footwear is yet to be released on December 3.
One netizen did not hesitate to speak out his thoughts. He commented on the photo:
“Ravena hindi pa nga release suot mo na agad kasama pa hangtag. Nike Park Philippines bigyan niyo naman kami chance puro na lang f&f niyo meron. (emoji)”
To this, Kiefer could not help but respond:
“Boss, Nike mismo nagpasuot sakin niyan. Anong gusto mong gawin ko. (emojis)”
“Kung pagalitan mo ako parang tropapis tayo eh (emoji) last name basis pa”

Kiefer, as an endorser of the shoe brand, can wear the newest models even prior to their public release dates. It is a marketing strategy used by companies to advertise their products, especially targeting basketball fans and the endorser’s supporters.
The shoes Kiefer is endorsing are specially designed to show the Philippines ' support for Michael Jordan and basketball. The product was first introduced in the country on November 30.
Kiefer Ravena is one of the Philippine Basketball Associations (PBA) superstars. He currently plays for the NLEX Road Warriors. Moreover, the athlete is the son of Ferdinand “Bong” Ravena, also a veteran basketball player and the present head coach of TeamTNT Katropa.
