The images showed the couple sharing a calm and private moment during their dinner date, away from official engagements and public attention.
The post quickly drew attention online, with netizens sharing mixed reactions. Some praised the couple’s visible closeness and the First Lady’s relaxed demeanor, while others raised questions about the timing of the photos as health rumors continued to circulate earlier.
Comments online reflected both admiration and curiosity, with many noting how the quiet dinner setting contrasted with the noise of social media speculation.
This is not the first time the First Lady has offered glimpses of their private life, as she previously shared Easter Sunday photos featuring their family enjoying a meal together outdoors with their children.
Through these posts, she continues to show a softer side of life in the Palace, highlighting the importance of slowing down, reconnecting, and valuing personal moments despite the pressures of public leadership.
Liza Marcos, the 66-year-old First Lady of the Philippines, is a Manila-born lawyer and academic from the prominent Araneta and Cacho families. A graduate of Ateneo de Manila and New York University, she continues to work as a law professor and firm partner while serving as the spouse of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. She is the mother of three sons: Sandro, Simon, and Vincent.
In another report, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has confirmed that the person identified by an 11-year-old girl from Camarines Sur is now under detention. In her letter addressed to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the child described alleged incidents of assault, harassment, and intimidation within their community. President Marcos has assured that the victim and her sisters will receive police protection as well as educational assistance. Meanwhile, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is extending psycho-emotional counseling, financial support, and legal aid to the affected victims.
Meanwhile, Malacañang has clarified that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is in good health amid rumors that surfaced after he missed an Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) event. The Palace explained that the speculation began following his absence from the said engagement. It was also recalled that President Marcos Jr. was previously diagnosed with diverticulitis in January 2026. Despite the issue, Malacañang assured the public that the President still proceeded with an oath-taking event scheduled on the same day.
