At a press conference at the Office of the Vice President in Mandaluyong today, VP Sara made a joke about her impeachment and break-up.

With Valentine's Day coming soon, she joked that being left by a boyfriend or girlfriend is more painful than being impeached by the House of Representatives.

Prior to that joke, VP 'Inday' Sara issued a one-liner response to her impeachment, "GOD SAVE THE PHILIPPINES."

She also entertained a couple of questions from the press people who attended the press conference but refused to answer a few because she and her lawyers are currently preparing for the impeachment.

Sara Zimmerman Duterte-Carpio, commonly known as Inday Sara, is a Filipino lawyer and politician currently serving as the 15th vice president of the Philippines. She is notable for being the third female vice president, the third vice president from Mindanao, and the youngest vice president in the country's history. Duterte held the position of secretary of education until July 19, 2024. She is the daughter of the 16th president, Rodrigo Duterte, and has served as the mayor of Davao City from 2016 to 2022 and from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, she was Davao City's vice mayor from 2007 to 2010.

In a previous report by KAMI, Vice President Sara Duterte has finally spoken about her impeachment by the House of Representatives. In a press conference held at the Office of the Vice President in Mandaluyong City today, VP Sara just put it in a one liner response. "Sa kabila ng aking mga naging pahayag ukol sa planong impeachment sa mga nakaraan na buwan. Ang tanging masasabi ko na lamang sa puntong ito ay, God save the Philippines," said VP 'Inday' Sara in front of the press people. VP Sara also entertained a couple of questions from the press people but declined to answer on a few since she and her lawyers are currently preparing for the impeachment.

Prior to this, Vice President Sara Duterte has been impeached by the House of Representatives on Wednesday. A total of 215 House members have endorsed the fourth impeachment complaint. This came nearly two months since three impeachment complaints were lodged against Duterte at the lower chamber. The complaint against Duterte is now set to be transmitted to the Senate.
